Soft pastel hues were fashionable during the Regency period, and the series has brought them squarely back into wedding planning. These palettes work particularly well with floral arrangements – blush pinks, lavenders, and powdery blues complement most bloom varieties without competing with them – and translate equally well to indoor and outdoor settings.
The images above are from Cleo and Tom’s wedding – a palette of blush pinks, lavenders, and powdery blues, with touches of optimistic yellow for contrast and depth. We first identified this as a defining Bridgerton trend back in 2022, and it has only gained momentum since.
2. Wisteria & Ivy Decor
Wisteria and ivy are synonymous with the Bridgerton series. The Bridgerton family home is adorned with wisteria climbing its façade, creating one of the show’s most recognisable images.
If you’re considering incorporating wisteria into your wedding decor, it is best suited for weddings held in April and May when the blooms are at their peak. Our preferred approach is to hang wisteria garlands from the ceiling at reception, creating a canopy effect overhead.

3. Opulent Tablescapes
Fine china, ornate silverware, and abundant floral arrangements – the Bridgerton dining scenes have set a new benchmark for wedding tablescapes. Layered textiles such as velvet or silk for table linens, combined with centrepieces of lush blooms and trailing greenery, build the kind of density and richness that characterises the series’ interiors.

4. Periwinkle Blue Bouquet
Series 3 culminated in Colin and Penelope’s wedding – and with it, a notable departure from traditional white bouquets. Penelope walked down the aisle carrying a periwinkle blue bouquet, accented with mint green foliage and cream flowers, tied with ribbons and silk that harmonised with the venue’s decor.

5. Fruit and Floral Combos
Mixing fruit with flowers was a hallmark of Regency-era entertaining, and it translates directly to a Bridgerton-inspired table. Grapes, berries, and citrus woven through floral arrangements add colour, texture, and volume to centrepieces – and from a practical standpoint, they fill out displays without requiring additional blooms.
This display, which we created at The Lanesborough, shows how the natural colours and textures of seasonal fruits complement delicate petals and greenery. The effect is sensory as well as visual – scent and colour working together across the table.
6. Floral Crowns
Portia Featherington and Kate Sharma are often seen throughout the series wearing floral crowns or hairpins. While elaborate floral crowns have not yet appeared in the show’s wedding scenes, this emerging trend fits naturally within the Regency aesthetic and suits a Bridgerton-inspired celebration.

A floral crown can be either dainty or dramatic and should be designed to enhance the dress rather than compete with it.
7. Pedestal or Urn Arrangements
Urn and pedestal arrangements are among the most direct visual references to Regency-era interiors. Overflowing with blooms and greenery, they create a commanding focal point – whether placed at ceremony entrances, along aisles, or as statement pieces at the reception. Their height and scale draw the eye upward, giving any space a sense of grandeur.
