The current Hedsor House was completed in 1868.

It is the seat of the Shephard family, who opened it to public view in 2007 when “The Golden Compass” was filmed at the estate.

How do you get to Hedsor House?

Hedsor is away from the bustle of the city, yet still comfortably close to London.

It takes just 45 minutes to reach Hedsor House from central London by car. The estate sits just a few miles from the M4 (J7) and the M40 (J2).

You can also travel by train from London Marylebone to Beaconsfield in around 22 minutes, or London Paddington to Burnham in around 32 minutes. The estate is a short taxi ride from either station.
